Outcomes Cx, a brand new cloud based clinical registry framework, allows clients to enter, maintain, view and share data across multiple clinical registries within one application.

Previously segmented clinical information is incorporated together in a system that is truly patient-centric. This is a key term that represents a significant change in healthcare information from inpatient/outpatient to longitudinal and comprehensive. Moreover, the information is viewed and analyzed from the individual patient perspective. It is this individual patient perspective that is necessary to quantify and analyze in order to change the nature of patient care in cardiovascular disease.

Patient-Centric Approach

The Outcomes Cx patient-centric approach provides the ability to enter, maintain, view and share data across multiple registries, all within one screen in one application. When a patient is admitted to your facility, you simply add a new, or select an existing, patient and add a hospitalization record, selecting the registry or registries for which patient qualifies for that hospitalization.
In addition, Data Quality feedback as well as the ACC Data Definitions and Coding Instructions are all available within the same single screen.

The New Clinical Registry Platform

Outcomes Cx is developed on a new, state-of-the-art cloud based information technology architecture. The key aspect of this new architecture is the built-in flexibility to account for the influences of the rapidly changing internal and external information demands. The new platform is able to handle and follow changes as it relates to participation in the STS, ACC and other registries and reporting requirements.
Outcomes Cx is a feature-rich product that provides an easy-to-use, intuitive data entry experience, comprehensive reporting, and interface connectivity to CathLab hemodynamic monitor systems.

Cloud Computing

Outcomes Cx is a hosted, web-based application. There is neither software to download nor databases to house at any facility. All that is required to enter and access your data is a browser and Internet access. ARMUS manages all of your IT needs, including managing ACC updates to inventory lists and medications.

Supported Registries

Interoperability

Sharing data between registries occurs with a single click of a button, or you can choose the data elements to share. Up to 100 fields may be shared between CathPCI and ACTION, thus reducing the data entry and abstraction burden to maintain these registries, and improving data accuracy and consistency across.

Interface to Hemodynamic Monitor Systems

Outcomes Cx provides the most advanced and intelligent interfaces to the hemodynamic monitoring systems indicated below, allowing data collected in the CathLab to be transferred to Outcomes Cx either instantaneously when a case is closed or on a scheduled basis. This optional utility significantly reduces the CathPCI data entry and abstraction burden by utilizing the data already collected in the CathLab to populate the CathPCI registry within Outcomes Cx, thus reducing redundant data entry between the two systems. Traceability of all cases processed by the interface is provided, including detailed alerts of the cases successfully processed, those that failed and why they failed, and the CathLab staff that processed the case. Outcomes Cx validates all data received through the interface per the ACC specifications. ARMUS professional services will work closely with you to set up the interface and the supporting CathLab workflow. Supported interfaces include:

Reporting

ARMUS Outcomes Cx provides comprehensive, web-based, real-time CathPCI reports, by hospital and by physician, as well as detailed data extracts, which may be viewed in Excel. ARMUS works in close collaboration with its clients to build and grow its report library, and is continuously working to create innovative, state-of-art reports to provide facilities with the information that they need when they need it.

Data Migration

ARMUS supports migrating client’s data from any ACC-certified vendor to Outcomes Cx for supported registry data versions.

HIPAA

Outcomes Cx follows all HIPAA/HITECH requirements and the highest standard of Industry Best Practices.
